About the author:
Goals
I am pursuing my Associates Degree in Journalism at Santa Monica College, CA. Once obtained I will be continuing my education at San Francisco State University where I will work towards getting my Bachelors degree in Journalism.
My ideal job would be with a very reputable news outlet such as NPR, CNN or PBS. I would prefer to work abroad as a foreign correspondent so I can build up a wealth of knowledge about other countries and eventually translate my knowledge of other countries into my work in the United States.
The kind of writing and reporting I prefer is feature storytelling, telling the stories that wouldn’t necessarily get covered. I look for the stories that seem dull on the outside but are actually very rich in substance once you scratch the surface.
